Cancellation Policy

Cancel or change most bookings for free up to 14 days before pick-up, 50% refund in between 3 to 14 days before pick up and no refund with in 72 hours before pickup. There are no additional charges applied.

Unlimited mileage on all vehicles

Enjoy your trip without thinking how many kilometres you can drive, because you have unlimited mileage to have a satisfactory experience.

Drop off all vehicles 24 hours* a day and 7 days a week with Tasman Car Rentals. We also offer after-hours drop off for both cars and commuters now!

What do I need to hire a car?

To book your car, all you need is a credit or debit card. When you pick the car up, you’ll need:

Your voucher / eVoucher, to show that you’ve paid for the car.
The main driver’s credit / debit card, with enough available funds for the car’s deposit.
Each driver’s full, valid driving licence, which they’ve held for at least 12 months (often 24).
Your passport and any other ID the car hire company needs to see.

How quickly can I confirm my reservation?

We can confirm most reservations with as little as 20 minutes advance notice. For last minute reservations, please call us at +61 03 6200 6469.

When is your reservation centre open?
